Nonnewaug High School GradNite is a safe, alcohol and drug-free celebration for graduating seniors that is organized by parents and celebrated on graduation night. NHS parents have been organizing this event for Nonnewaug High School seniors since 1998 and it continues to be a highlight for many students and parents during the senior year. This is a pay-it-forward event involving planning and preparation from parents of all grade levels.
2026 – 2027 Meetings
Parents and students from all grade levels are encouraged to attend our GradNite meetings to assist in the planning of GradNite, which will be on the night of Nonnewaug’s Class of 2027 graduation. We encourage parents of underclassmen to help, even if you don’t have a senior just yet!
Planning meetings are scheduled for the 1st Thursdays of the month. Additional meetings will be scheduled as needed.
Meetings are held at 7 p.m. at Nonnewaug Vo-Ag Building Room 453.

Fundraisers
- CLOTHING & BOTTLE/CAN DRIVE – Saturday October 17th from 9am to 3pm at NHS. Start collecting unwanted clothing and CT redeemable bottles and cans. Many student volunteers are needed to make this a successful fundraiser.
